About Hubli
Anciently known as Raya Hubli or Elaya Puravada Halli, the historical town of Hubli proves to be a big draw for tourists and history buffs from across the globe. During the rule of the Vijayanagar kingdom, Hubli prospered into being a chief commercial centre. Even today, the town is known for its handloom textile units.
